Gandhi Jayanthi

Went to kovilpatti for four days (from 25th sept to 29th sept)...went to vicky's daughter function on 26th...28th did the registration (name transfer of the documents) and went to tutucorin on 29th...morning drive back to chennai on 30th (in a nice climate - with rain and cloud)...

whenever i go to kvp, i get the feeling that i am the only one "not busy"....even the kids can not skip the school for a single day...so, our planned trip to coimbatore/kodaikanal did not materialise...tell you what, when you organise something try not to be democratic (but, i can not leave the habit)...

soaked in the kovilpatti sun (this time no sun in fact, it was raining or super cloudy...manju enjoyed it...no headaches for her, btw) for 4 days and it is always a nice feeling to be back home...

Due to the heavy driving (should i say i became a full time driver after i bought the vehicle) and the rainy weather i had to confront...caught up with cold for a week and recovering still...

i was really worried on 2nd october on whether i can meet my fasting commitment...luckily i managed to...this year was a tough one with heavy cold...thinking of it...how many times gandhi has taken fasting? did he ever consider whether his body can take it? Gandhi is becoming more and more relevant today...people really do not like to follow ethics...leave alone following, younger generation do not even seem to know what is ethics...everything is measured with money and it is time for the newer generation take a good dip in Gandhian thoughts...i need to do something about it...when and how is the question...btw...now a days i do not hesitate to say i quit non-veg after inspired by gandhi...in fact, i repeat it when ever a chance occurs...well, people do look at me as an alien...who cares...i want to remind gandhi to the newer generation as much as possible, in whatever way it is possible...

i am supposed to write a lot about mom...but not in this today...will allocate a day and write in tamil...till then...bye...
